Junior League of Orange County, CA Scholarship Program
Junior League of Orange County, CA (JLOCC) annually awards thousands of dollars in scholarships to deserving students, supporting our vision of a community where health, safety, and education are promoted and supported.
Scholarship Awards: This year, up to $1,000 will be awarded to students pursuing a college degree. Scholarships recognize academic achievement and commitment to personal and community growth.
Deadline: Sunday, March 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM
Eligibility Requirements
● Currently a graduating high school senior or current post-secondary (any higher education including enrollment in a
community college, university, vocational/trade schools, or technical college) student
● Minimum 3.0 GPA or above (high school or post-secondary)
● Citizen or permanent resident of the United States
● Pending acceptance to an accredited post-secondary institution (Proof required prior to fund disbursement)
● If registering as a part-time student, provide proof of 20+ hours of employment per week
● Able to attend the JLOCC’s Annual Meeting on Friday, May 08, 2026, to accept any award or send an appropriate
designee (parent, teacher, executive director of the project/program, foster parent, etc.)
● May not be an immediate relative of a JLOCC member (i.e., sibling, child)
● Scholars must use the funds awarded within one calendar year from the official award date
Please note: Former or current participants in a JLOCC sponsored program or organization may receive preference.
Applicants can reapply annually.
Scholarship Award Application

● Most current high school and/or any post-secondary school transcript(s) (uploaded to Google Forms Application
OR sent via email)
● One letter of recommendation from an academic advisor, academic counselor or recent instructor (uploaded
to Google Forms Application OR sent via email)

Optional Engagement Opportunity (Pilot)
As part of a pilot initiative, selected recipients may be invited to participate in optional mentorship, leadership exposure, or
League-hosted engagement opportunities during the academic year. Participation is voluntary and not required for
scholarship eligibility.
ALL materials are due by 11:59 PM on Sunday, March 15, 2026
Scholarship recipients will be notified in writing by the end of April 2025.
