Belinda joined JLOCC in 2024. She quickly set her leadership path on the Community Impact Council, leveraging her experience as Service Learning Lead and rising to become the Community Impact Vice President. In her professional career Belinda stands out as a highly accomplished and innovative planner who prioritizes mentorship, analyzes complex challenges, and develops practical solutions,. Her talents include, a strong service ethic, relationship and team builder, and effective communicator. Belinda emphasizes “”the big picture”” and applies the planning process to improve systems. Her expertise and skills propelled her from planner to Community Development and Public Works Director in the past year. Most importantly, Belinda created APA Orange PEEL (Planning = Education + Experience + Leadership), Orange County’s successful mentoring program that established a lasting network of emerging and experienced planners over the past decade. As a leader within the Junior League of Orange County, California, she brings a combination of strategic thinking, organizational leadership, and a strong commitment to community impact.

Belinda strengths include the ability to build relationships, foster collaboration across diverse groups of members, community partners, and stakeholders. By combining thoughtful planning with a focus on member engagement and sustainable fundraising, she can help strengthen the League’s leadership pipeline while positioning the organization for long-term growth and impact in Orange County.
