Maddie Garcia
Maddie joined the Junior League in 2025 and is passionate about creating meaningful community impact through service, philanthropy, and initiatives that make a difference.
Professionally, Maddie is the Development Coordinator at Pretend City Children’s Museum, where she supports fundraising efforts that expand access to hands-on learning opportunities for children and families. She also brings experience in marketing, communications, copywriting, and design. Maddie earned her B.A. in Film and Electronic Arts with an emphasis in Production Management from California State University, Long Beach.
Her volunteer experience includes managing a benefit concert for End Malaria Now, serving on the board of the CSULB Women in Film Association, and directing a documentary for the Mayor’s Fund for Long Beach that highlighted the vital role of early childhood educators. Through both her professional and volunteer endeavors, she enjoys bringing people together in support of causes that strengthen communities.
Outside of the League, Maddie is a self-proclaimed foodie who loves cooking and baking, exploring museums, and testing her knowledge at trivia nights. She also enjoys spending time with her two dogs and seeing her favorite bands perform live.
