PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Nearly 70 years ago, a visionary group of women came together to create something enduring – an organization powered by women and rooted in deep community impact. Since 1956, Junior League of Orange County, CA, has evolved with purpose, training generations of women to lead with confidence, compassion, and conviction. Today, we carry that legacy forward with momentum and a renewed sense of possibility.
As we look toward our 70th anniversary, we do so with a clear vision and an energized strategic direction: Yes, We CAN. This mantra encapsulates our belief that we can innovate, can lead with authenticity, and can drive meaningful change – both within our communities and ourselves. Guided by this new framework, we are ensuring that our work not only honors our history, but also meets the evolving needs of Orange County.
Our impact area, Gender Equality: Empowering All Women and Girls, remains central to our efforts. Whether through community partnerships, civic engagement, or Member development, we are committed to building a more equitable future – and cultivating leaders who will shape it. Our Members serve as volunteers, advocates, and changemakers, and they gain the experience to lead in boardrooms, classrooms, nonprofits, and neighborhoods across the county and beyond.
If you’re exploring ways to connect with a powerful network of women, seeking purpose-driven leadership development, or looking to collaborate on community impact, we invite you to join us. Whether you are new to the League, a returning Member, a community partner, or a potential supporter, your voice and presence are valued here.
Together, we’ve done remarkable work. But the best is yet to come.
With gratitude,
Stephanie Suarez
President, 2025-2027
